Alfred James, Sr. was born on May 30th, 1946, in Pineville, Louisiana. He was the son of the late Albert and Annie Bell James. He was preceded in death by his son, Alfred James Jr., two sisters: Earline James and Julia Godfrey, two brothers: Charles James and Edward James. Alfred departed this life on August 27th, 2026, at home with his family surrounding him.
