Rev. Bernard Howard, Sr., 75 of Alexandria, passed away November 28, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 13, 2019 in the Ben D. Johnson Memorial Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am on Friday and continue until the start of service. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Howard was born January 5, 1944. Mr. Howard is survived by one son, Bernard Howard, Jr.; one daughter, Rhonda Hughes; one stepson, Henry Armstrong; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Hilda Jean Morris; one brother, Louis Howard, a caring companion, Cynthia Bradford and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
