Homegoing Services for Mr. Charlie Johnson, Sr. will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Ben Johnson Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home in Alexandria with Bishop Lynell Smith, Officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9 a.m. until start of service at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Johnson passed away January 5, 2019 at the age of 87. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories 14 children, Margaret Howard, Charlie Johnson, Jr., Betty Carey, Joe Johnson, Barbara Smith, Raymond Johnson (Martha), Leo Johnson, Richard Johnson, Leola Johnson, Velma Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Ashley White, Tracy Turner, Deal Stewart, Janice Johnson and William Barton, Sr.; 38 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
