Cynthia Marie Brooks was born September 7, 1959 in Alexandria, Louisiana to parents MSgt. Macie E. Hymes and Kathryn Mitchell Hymes, both who preceded her in death. Cynthia graduated from Peabody High School.  After relocating to Dallas, Texas in the late 1980's Cynthia was employed in the hospitality industry.

Cynthia leaves behind her three loving sons, their spouses and their children.

Cynthia was deeply loved and respected and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
