Mr. Donald Rayner Norris was born on April 09, 1957, in Pineville, Louisiana, to the late Evans & Cornelia Norris. He

Passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, at approximately 3 am. at Rapides Hospital. He was united in holy matrimony to Wanda Smith-Norris on April 16, 2017.

And loving sister Emma Jean Norris-Overton

Don(fox) was baptized at an early age at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, Marco La.

He attended Springhill Elementary thru high school graduation.

At 19 years of age, he joined the USMC. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California. After he left the military, he moved to Houston, Tx. Dallas Tx. and finally back to his roots, Southern Norris's Marco La. Don was nickname Fox because he was born redheaded & as sneaky as a fox. He was our entertainment never a dull moment. He was our HERO; true Marine(HOO-RAH). He loved his girls & grandkids.He looked

forward to spending time with them. His biggest smile was every time he saw pictures of his grandkids

saying I gave those girls my genes. He loved his siblings with a passion. He gave Wanda hell, but he loved her. As we have said before, no one is perfect, but he was perfect for us.

He leaves to cherish his memories
