Dorothy Anderson, 87 of Alexandria passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Limited visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 am at Winnfield Funeral Home immediately followed by a private graveside services at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Bethel AME Church and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lee Anderson, Sr., and her parents James Brown and Amy Sewell Jiles. Survivors include her children, Jeannie (Delbert) Linear of Alexandria, LA, Donita (Larry) Jordan of Tampa, FL, Stephanie L. Anderson of Columbia, SC and Joe Lee Anderson, Jr. of Alexandria, LA; one brother, Robert (Gloria) Brown of Alexandria, LA; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of neices, nephews, relatives and friends.
