Mr. Ervin Johnson, Jr. passed away May 18, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Homegoing Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Oakland Baptist Church, LeCompte, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of service at the church. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Johnson was 87 years old. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by parents and his wife, Lucenda Johnson; step-daughter Diane Fells; brother, Walter Johnson and sister, Roberta Chew. He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Ervin Johnson, III; three daughters, Carolyn Roberts, Rose Pelangka, Janet Lynn and stepdaughter Jo Ann Woodfox; one brother, Leroy Johnson; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
