Mrs. Ethel Garrett Cheney, of Alexandria, Louisiana passed away, Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her residence in Alexandria, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon followed by a dismissal service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mrs. Cheney leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Vincent (Shirley) Cheney; three daughters, Wanda Beard, Anita Cheney and Linda (Earl Hunter) Walker; two sisters, Gloria (Michael) Richard and Janice Tate; three brothers, Charles (Mildred) Garrett, Richard ( Linda) Garrett and Billy ( Sharon) Garrett; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchild; and a host of host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
