Frank Collins Jr. 71, peacefully transitioned from this life on Aug 27, 2026 in Mansura, LA after a gradual decline in health. Frank was born to Frank Collins Sr. (Hamburg, LA) and Shirley Singleton Collins (Houma, LA) in New Orleans, Louisiana at charity hospital on Sep 9th . 1954. In 1972, he graduated from Moreauville High School in Moreauville, Louisiana, and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his military service, he was stationed at McChord Air Force Base in Washington State, now part of Joint Base Lewis-McChord. He is survived by his eight children Frank Collins III, Dupree Whitten, Teva Collins, Franklin Whitten, Kim Collins, Michael Collins, Odyssey Collins, and Keith Collins. Preceded in death by two children: Shonn Washington-Collins, and Peter Whitten along with his 31 beloved grandchildren.
