FRED GRAY, SR. was born October 14, 1933, to the union of the late Jim gray and Eolar Bonier. Fred accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.  He attended St. Matthews Baptist Church in Colfax, Louisiana under the leadership of Reverend Otha Watkins.  He later moved to Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Rube Tademy, where he served as a faithful member until his death.

FRED was joined in matrimony to Betty Beatrice Scott.  To this union was born 4 girls and 8 boys.  Beatrice White, California (5), Edna Gray, Louisiana (5), Shirley Jones, California (7), Janice Gray, California (8), Jimmy Gray, Louisiana (3), Gary Gray, California, Eric Gray, California (1), Fred Gray Jr. Louisiana (4) Bobby Gray, Kansas City (3), Donald Gray, Louisiana (2), Sherman Gray, California (6), Adrian Gray, California (7), Two sons-Anthony Vinson, Louisiana and Marcus Vinson of Louisiana.

FRED was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two sisters-Josephine Miles and Leona Baines.  Three brothers, Izeal Gray, Brooker T. Gray and Jessie Gray.  Three Children-Janice Gray, Gary Gray and Eric Gray.

Fred is survived by his sister Ida Mae Harrell and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He also leaves a special friend of many years, Ms. Katherine Harrell.
