Mr. Gerald L. Carpenter, 66 formerly of Pineville, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 in Los Angeles, California. A limited occupancy Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until time of service. Interment service will be at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana. Mr. Carpenter proudly served in the United States Army from 1972-1974. Survivors include one son, Eric Warden of Alexandria, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Davion Warden and Dasisa Warden; one brother, Lloyd (Carolyn) Carpenter of Pineville, Louisiana; and domestic partner Candy Lewis of Los Angeles, California and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
