Gwendolyn Carpenter, 64 of Alexandria, Louisiana passed away, May 19, 2020 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. A private graveside service will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at from 9 am- 10:45 am Tuesday at the Winnfield Funeral Home in Alexandria. Survivors include her son, Devin (Diedra) Carpenter; one daughter, LaVonda Carpenter; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Shelia (Phillip) Jones; two brothers, Reggie (Leslie) Hamilton and Kevin (Clarissa) Hamilton and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
