Mr. Henry Johnson, Jr., 80 of Alexandria, La passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019. A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Ben D. Johnson Memorial Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria, Louisiana beginning at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ronnie Humphrey will be the Officiating Minister. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until time of service on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Johnson was a Deacon a Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and Past Choir President. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Veranease Johnson; one daughter, Gayle (Fred) Mills and one adopted daughter, Dorothy J. Fullwood; two sons, Glynn (Jacqueline) Johnson and Henry (Monica) Johnson; 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and the Mt.
