Mr. Lawrence Neal Young, Jr. ended his battle with cancer on November 19, 2023, at his residence.  Lawrence graduated from Peabody High School and Southern University.  Lawrence worked and retired from the city of Detroit.  He loved playing dominoes and cheering on his Saints and Astros.  he was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Lawrence III, and Dorian, one daughter, Tauri.  Sisters, Yvonne and Connie, one brother Victor. Nephews, Eric, Terry, Ronald and Steven.  Three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lawrence's services will be held at Winnfield Funeral Home-Alexandria 2033 3rd Street, Alexandria, Louisiana on Tuesday November 28, 2023.  Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. and services will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be immediately after services at the Garden of Memories Cemetary.
