Dad enjoyed playing dominos, listening to blues and spending time with his family and friends, especially his cousins Mary Luscious and Catherine'Cat' Crow who were like sisters to him. 'Pet' was called home to be with the Lord November 8, 2020 while a patient in Ochsner LSU Hospital In Shreveport, La. which brought sadness to the hearts of all who knew and loved him. "Pet" is preceded in death by his parents Louis Dorty Jr. & Jeretha Joseph and his grandmother, Ruth Small.Those left in God's care to mourn include his brother, Jero'Bubba' Dorty of Clarence, La. ; two daughters, Wanda "Peaches' Simmons and Lakeitha Blount; one son, Patrick'Kojack'Scott; grand kids, Royce'Scooby' Brooks, Dashanae Dorty and Dysschun Blountand; a Loving Special Companion, Gwen McGee of Houston, Texas; one God daughter, Jeretha 'Denise' of Baltimore, Maryland and a host of other nephews, relatives, friends and those who loved him dearly and cherished every moment with him.
