Nick Chenvert, Jr. was born January 1, 1945 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Nick Chenvert, Sr. and Vivian Coty Chenvert.  He joined the Air Force and later became an insurance agent.  He has been the Owner of Chenvert Insurance for over 50 years. Mr. Chenvert was a people person who never met a stranger. He was a member of the Metro Lions Club, NAACP and he served on many boards throughout the city.  He loved sports and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. He was a proud Peabody Warhorse and a generous supporter of his community.    He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Lee Chenvert.  Those left to cherish his loving memory are three daughters, Monique Chenvert, Bridgette Chenvert Jackson and Kiera Perry; two grandchildren,  Ashlyn Nichole Jackson and Kaylyn McKenzie Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memories of Mr. Nick Chenvert, Jr. will continue on in the hearts of those who were touched by his life. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Monique Michelle Chenvert of Lafayette, LA, Bridgette Chenvert Jackson (Chris) of Alexandria, LA and Kiera N. Perry of Alexandria, LA; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Nichole Jackson and Kaylyn McKenzie Jackson both of Alexandria, LA; four devoted Best Friends, Robert E. Ford, Sr. , Theodore Fountaine, Jr., Edward Larvadain, Jr. and Arthur Newton all of Alexandria, LA; a Special Friend, Helen M. Russell of Alexandria, LA; a special cousin, James Braggs, Jr. of San Pablo, CA and a host of other relatives and friends.
