Mr. Jessie Peace Butler, 85 of Alexandria passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019. A Celebration of his Life and Legacy will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 beginning at 1:00 pm until time of service at Winnfield Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria, Louisiana. SSGT Butler retired after 20 years of active duty in the Air Force and he also retired from the V A Hospital in Pineville. He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie Peace and Celia Butler and one step-son Dwight Baylor. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Debra Howard, Patricia Sherow and step-daughter Denise Dixon; one son, Bruce Frederick; grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
