Mr. Rickie M. Fleming, 67 of Alexandria, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the Ben D. Johnson Memorial Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria. Visitation will begin at 9:00am on Thursday and continue until the start of service. Burial will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Rickie Michael Fleming was born to the union of Andrew and Juanita Fleming, on March 30, 1952. Rickie was reared in the Catholic faith, and attended school in Rapides Parish. Rickie was known for his ability to draw and paint and for being sharp dresser. Mr. Fleming is survived by one daughter, Shawanna Nash and family of Alexandria, Louisiana; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Velva Pope of Sacramento, California and Jaqueline Marshall of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Andrew Fleming, Jr. of Los Angeles, California; a special friend, Vera Thompson and a special nephew, Arthur Fleming, Jr., along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
