Tyrone Jamarcus Allen (TJ) was born on September 15, 1998, to the union of Tyrone Allen and Teola Ellis-Allen. On January 13,2024, TJ was called to his heavenly home after a hard-fought battle with sarcoma lung cancer. He was baptized by the late Rev. Robert Granvel at Second New Light Baptist Church.
TJ lived life to the fullest. He attended several Carnival Cruises. TJ always wanted to become a truck driver since he was 5 years old. After graduating from Peabody Magnet High School, he started working for Cleco. TJ wanted to fulfill his dream of being a truck driver. He earned his CDL shortly after leaving Cleco. His trucking jobs were at RSI, Techline, and H&E Equipment Services. He loved his job at H&E Equipment Services. He had a great group of people he enjoyed and loved working with until his passing.
TJ had a great work ethic instilled in him that he inherited from both his parents. He was loyal, honest, reliable and friendly. TJ was always positive and optimistic about life. He was loved by many. Once TJ befriended someone, he behaved as an actual friend.
TJ was preceded in death by his father, Tyrone Allen, his grandparents, Martha Cross-Allen and John Allen Sr. and Teola Adams-Ellis and Eugene Ellis Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Teola Allen, his sister, Daphne Allen both of Alexandria, La. and his brother Adrian Ellis (Jessica) of Norwood, Ohio. He loved being an uncle to Rayvon Corley Jr. Malakai Longieliere and Mi'Kaelah Longieliere. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and his fur son Gumbeaux Allen
