Ms. Virda Joshua formerly of Alexandria passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the age of 97 in McKinney, Texas. Celebration of her Life and Legacy will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March  16, 2019 at the Ben D. Johnson Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 9:00 am until start of service in the Chapel. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria. Ms. Joshua was born November 29, 1921 in Bunkie, Louisiana to Cleveland and Laura Edwards Hilts.  She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories three daughters, Bertha Johnson, Jessie Lee Kimble and Laura Joshua; four sons, Clinton Joshua, Jr., Dennis Ray Joshua, Leroy Joshua, Lionell Joshua; one sister, Eula Lee Kirk; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Deondra Porter, Jarvis Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Bobby Joshua, Ronald Joshua and Johnnie Quinine.     Honorary Pallbearers are David Johnson, Lionell Joshua, Jr., Michael Robinson and David Johnson.
